Friendships it really was not my idea to buy it. If you know me I am very kuripot (read: frugal) (read: wais na mommy).

He asked me one simple question. When was the last time we bought Eli a toy? Napaisip ako dun. Most of his toys are really just gifts. He has a toy chest that's already overflowing with toys mostly from his grandparents and loving tito and titas.

K fine tara lets buy even if it's 3.8k. May discount pa naman because it was SM Megasale at that time.

Here is his new toy:

And here is the dad na super excited mag set-up even if it was already 12midnight by the time we arrived home.

Ang ending ganite-chi.

Di na kinaya ng powers ni JP. :P

Note: Sorry na sa kalat ng house.
Parang binagyo lang ang peg.
We road tested his car the very following day.

Eli and dad

Sa sobrang excited namin we forgot
to put slippers on him. Hee hee

Anlapad ko dito friends, bow.

He likes his bubbles very much.

This other cute baby boy is also named Elijah.
He wanted to take this new toy car for a ride too. :)

Mom: Eli, let's pose with your new toy.
Eli: Mom, I have better things to do. :P

In fairness, mukhang action star si Eli here.

Overall enjoy naman ang baby boy. He is very curious sa kanyang surroundings. I think my baby got that from me.

He's turning one year next month. In about two weeks time. Wah. Panic mode.

It's bring the baby to the office tomorrow / trick or treat. Will surely blog about that. =)

Mga gerls, boys, mothers, bekkis, friends, whathaveyous: Sorry for the lack of post. I have said to my friend Ro, that the reason I'm not blogging is because I don't do sad very well.

Why ako sad mga mare? Nasa starvation/deprivation mode ako right now. Lahat nalang bawal. :P

Ang goal sa akin ng aking very "severe" doctor ay goal weight na 105 lbs.  Yes, true. It can be done daw. So long as I follow this very strict diet torture regimen for about 2 -3 months. Weh. But yes, I believe kaya friends in 3 months time nalang tayo mag reunion okay? I shall be a new "me" then. Hehe.

So of course, my come back post has to be about my current and forever obsession: my son, Elijah. I would like to share the products he uses, to maintain that uber cute-ness of his. Haha. Read on and maybe you can share yours too! I would love to hear them.

R: Avon hypoallergenic baby wash (top to toe)
(He uses this on days when he will go out. Love the scent. Very clean.)

L: Avon hypoallergenic baby lotion
(This one naman he uses everyday. Ever since he was a baby.
That's why na associate ko na ung smell na to with Eli.
It has a very mild, clean, baby scent.
I really recommend these two.)

Sansflou toothpaste (safe to swallow), strawberry flavor
Pink Pigeon 12+months tootbrush
(I know it's pink hehe. Na color blind ang mommy while buying. :D)
Drapolene cream
(I put this sa kanyang butt after bathing. No rashes! Promise.)

Classic: J&J baby bath.
(This is what he uses for body everyday.)
J&J Extra Conditioning
(Elijah has super curly thick hair. This shampoo works like wonders.)

Cetaphil: for Eli's fez
J&J Bed time lotion
(Every night we put this on him and
that signals him na he's about to sleep na.)
J&J Safety swabs
(Also good is the Anion safety swabs)

Zwitsal Power
(Just for his butt. hehe)
Zwitsal Cologne
(I only put this when I remember.
Otherwise, just the lotion and baby smell OK na OK na)

Shoofly.
(From Indigo baby. To keep mosquitos away. Effective!)
Mother's Healing Balm
(From Ory Spa. Uy, galing din ng product na to.
All around boo boo balm.)

We use either Nursy or Giggles wipes.
Either one that is available almost same quality
and they are the cheapest in the market.

Thankfully, my son is also very low maintenance like me. Waley masyadong gastos. I hope it continues until he's much more older.

That's it mga mothers. I will be more active now in this blog. Promise yan.

Happy happy happy weekend! =)

Getting to know me :)

I am answering this now and I kinda’ want to answer this again 10 years from now and I would guess nothing much will change.

1. Where you named after someone? I was named after grandma, my mom, an aunt who passed away before I was born and the English translation of our neighbor’s baby girl’s name. Do I have a long name, you ask? Yes.

2. How did you name your blog? It was just a random thought.

3. Where did you meet your husband? School.

4. How long were you guys dating before you got married? I lost count of the years, days and months. But it was a loooong time.

5. How did you bond? Food. Movie. Doing nothing together.

6. If there is one song to describe your life right now what would it be? Rolling in the Deep. Joke. There’s none. My life is simply just too fabulous.

7. What did you first notice about your partner when you first met? Matinis boses nya (translation: his voice is too thin). Turns out nagbibinata palang sya non. I’ve fixed that already. ;)

8. If you could have any superpower what would it be? Stop and unstop time.

9. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? No.

10. As a child, what did you want to grow up to be? SM saleslady or cashier.

11. Do you remember where you first spent your paycheck? I gave all of my first paycheck to mama.

12. Favorite Social Network? Wula. Facebook can close down tomorrow and I don't care.

13. Favorite place in Manila? Megamall. Yaiks! I’m just being practical okay? I can navigate this mall with eyes closed. Plus, they’ve got it all for me.

14. What are your favorite TV Shows (local and foreign)? How I Met Your Mother

15. What’s your silliest pet peeve? People who use elevator to go just one floor up. Use the stairs people! Waahhhh arrrggghhhh *** china plates thowing, fit of rage****

16. What’s your favorite quote? "This too shall pass."

17. What’s your favorite smell? Elijah’s anit (scalp).

18. Say a random thing about yourself: I let my yaya do my art projects when I was a kid. I was already excellent in delegating things so early in my life.

19. If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be? Chef Gordon Ramsay. Stress much!

20. If you could drop everything now and do something what would it be? Join a US reality show. The Apprentice or US Masterchef. FTW! (US talaga?! Haha. Feelingera.) :D

Tuesday already! Yehey. Wednesday na bukas. #nonesense

I, again relentlessly harassed pleaded my husband to watch this movie with me. He wanted to watch this fight movie called the “Warrior”. Bleyatch. Just the title "Warrior" already sends me to comatose of boredom. So using my female hypnotic charms (yun o!) I was able to finally convince hubby.

Verdict: Friends, throw your logic off the window and just enjoy the ride. It is a whole lotta’ entertaining. I liked how glossy the film looks like (pang mayomon! translation: for rich people!). The acting is campy. Derek's cry looks like he’s always about to vomit. Anne C.'s lips are characters on their own. I liked Christine's acting best, with her award dead pan cry and plastic smile. Award! Cat fights I love, love, love. I kinda' feel sorry for the actors though because I think they believe that they are in a drama film (with the way the tears are outpouring) but the viewers (full packed cinema on a Sunday late night showing— ka ching ka ching star cinema!) seem to think otherwise. People are laughing even though the musical scoring and the tears are telling us that it is a drama scene.

Life lessons:
- No matter how pretty your face is, nude lipstick will make you look like a cancer patient.
- If you need so much stress in life, then cheat!
- Affairs are only fun at the beginning, after that it is stress all the way.
- Love makes you do crazy things.
- Guys find it hard to resist girls in a bikini.
- So married women, wearing bikini is a must too.
- The drama that affairs bring to your life is not worth it.
- Wife: do not become a bore. Develop other hobbies beside crocheting.
- The fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach but... there are other "short-cuts". :D
- Humans are ruled by emotions. So NEVER toy with people’s emotions. Someone is always bound to get hurt.

Great stress reliever. I urge you to make pilit your hubby, gay friends,  girl friends and boy friends too.

Disclaimer: Do not watch the trailer na below because it gives away the entire plot already. Jejeje. (Don't say I didn't warn you.)

Wag pahuli sa uso friends, watch na! ;)

Food, food, food (Part 2): Chatime vs. Serenitea

Milk teas are the new craze. Well some will argue and say it's not so new. You can't argue with me because I have been living under a rock this past few months. With the baby and all, I lost touch of the world. Now, material things are beginning to worm their way into my subconscious and I am starting to get curious again about stuff.

Let's do a photo blog shall we?

I decided to try Chatime with hubby one Saturday when we went to the grocery to buy spaghetti ingredients.

The buzzer thingamajigg that vibrates when your order is ready.
So sushal!

The harassed staff. So many the people ordering.
Mabenta, in fairness.

My shadow. I am wearing an Indian dress
given by my good friend from Mumbai.

Mine: Pearl Milk tea (70% less ice, 100% sugar): Yummy
His: Taro milk tea (70% less ice, 100% sugar): Mas yummy

Interiors: Girly

I can imagine sorority kikay girls having their meeting here.

One lazy day in the office I suddenly shouted, out of the blue: Who wants Serenitea?! What followed was far from the the word "serenity". I was soo stressed because I was the one who persuaded harassed asked people to order and the drinks were delivered two hours late! People were supposed to be leaving na for their homes but were forced to stay because we were waiting for our order.

We placed our orders via City Delivery. We are in Taguig. The orders came from Robinsons Place, Ermita. Imagine the travel. Imagine the traffic. I did not get mad at kuya delivery. I pity him because so layo pa pala. All the while I thought the orders were coming from the Fort Bonifacio branch. (facepalm moment!)

See we waited na for kuya at the reception area because
daddy Alf and Joyce (still smiling) needed to go home na.

Cindy: Senitea first timer.
According to her: "Acquired taste daw."
Jejejeje.

She's my partner in crime at the office.
Jen, showing off her drinks.

My order: Wintermelon (100% sugar, 25% less ice)
Serenitea, you gave me so much stress
but it was worth it. Come to mama.

The verdict: I choose Serenitea over Chatime. But that's just me. I have a sweet tooth kasi. And with Serenitea I can really taste the brewed tea. There's a punch. I am set to try Happy Lemon next. Maki-uso lang. Go ahead, try na rin! =)

Part 3 tomorrow! Unknow Korean Resto, Dampa, Charlies and Sweet Pea
